Description: Otis Spann was born in Mississippi, probably in the year 1924. He started performing at age 14; moved to Chicago in 1946. He was a piano player for Muddy Waters. IMO beautiful, distinctive piano blues. Artist: Otis Spann Album: Archive of Folk Blues Genre: Piano Blues Chicago Blues Year: 1971 Label: Everest FS-216 Condition: Vinyl: VG+ Small scuff side 1. Occasional crackles in quiet sections. Jacket: EX Left the torn shrink on for protection, but would make a nicer presentation with the shrink off. I endeavor to grade accurately using the Goldmine Grading Standard, but please carefully review the photos. I will occasionally use the eBay rating of EX (excellent). Shipping: The vinyl is removed from the jacket and the inner sleeve, then the vinyl is placed in a new polypropylene inner sleeve and then the vinyl and the original inner sleeve are placed in a new poly outer sleeve. The outer cover is placed in a separate new poly sleeve. Cardboard separators are placed between the album and the shipping box and between the cover and the vinyl. The album is shipped in a 13x13x1 inch box. All vinyl is sent with tracking. I am not a reseller.
