Description: This is a rare twelve page advertising herald (flyer) promoting the six-night, Provincial Tour engagement of the OSCAR STRAUS, STANISLAUS STANGE, RUDOLPH BERNAUER and LEOPOLD JACOBSON operette "THE CHOCOLATE SOLDIER" at the Broadway Theatre in New Cross, London beginning March 10th, 1913. (The Original Broadway production opened September 13th, 1909 at New York's Lyric Theatre and ran for 295 performances. The Original West End production opened September 10th, 1910 at London's Lyric Theatre and ran for 500 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The London cast included C. H. WORKMAN, CONSTANCE DREVER, AMY AUGARDE, JOHN DUNSMURE and ROLAND CUNNINGHAM, however this advertising herald does not mention any cast members by name ..... CONDITION: With the exception of heavy creasing and light soiling to the back cover, this rare herald is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
