Orville by Gibson Thunderbird Safe Packing!

The main modification is the replacement of the pickups with Gibson PICKUP SHOP's Thunderbird Reissue chrome covers for both front and rear pickups. This change has brought the sound closer to the punchy old Thunderbird sound compared to the current Thunderbird. Currently, the string action is around 2mm on the 1st string side and about 2.5mm on the 4th string side. The truss rod on the tightening side is quite tight, but there are no issues with sound fretting. Depending on the setup, it seems possible to lower the string action a bit more, but for this old-style Thunderbird, it might be enjoyable to play with a slightly higher string action to capture its essence. There is a small scratch on the back of the headstock, and the strap pin has been relocated as promised. (It will be changed to a standard type strap pin for shipping). The Gibson Pickup Shop pickups are very thin, so I have added a sponge underneath to raise the height. Consequently, I have used temporary screws as I was looking for longer ones without success. This part may need to be changed by the buyer. There is no case included. The block position marks are stickers, originally standard dot type, and can be easily removed if not needed. The PUSHOP box is not included. The wiring for the tone has been cut to a 2Vol configuration based on personal preference.
