Description: Great original vintage type 1 8x10 press photograph of Orson Welles, Rita Hayworth and Marlene Dietrich announcing the end of World War 2 at the Hollywood Canteen. Photograph was taken on August 15th 1945 by Otto Rothschild. Has a Rothschild stamp on the back. Also has a paper caption attached to the back. Authenticated as a Type 1 circa 1945 and slabbed by PSA DNA. As is common in PSA photo slabs, the back of the photo has some harmless air bubbles known as "Newton Rings". Photograph comes from the famous Leonard Stanley collection. PSA defines a type 1 photograph as "a first generation photograph developed from the original negative, during the period within approximately two years of when the picture was taken".
