Description: RARE because it is an ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC patch from USAF's 118th Tactical Airlift Wing Crest (TAW). The 118th Wing (118 WG) is a unit of the Tennessee Air National Guard, stationed at Joint Base Berry Field, formerly Berry Field Air National Guard Base, Nashville, Tennessee. The 118th is equipped with the MQ-9 Reaper. If activated to federal service, it is gained by the United States Air Force Air Combat Command.The 105th Tactical Airlift Squadron, assigned to the Wings 118th Operations Group, is a descendant organization of the World War I 105th Aero Squadron, established on 27 August 1917. It was reformed on 4 December 1921, as the 105th Observation Squadron, and is one of the 29 original National Guard Observation Squadrons of the United States Army National Guard formed before World War II.This patch is in a very GOOD condition, has "a plastic" backing, a "cut yellow" border, has a "dark blue embroidered" background, does NOT have velcro on the back, does NOT have sew holes, and shows the dimensions in the photos...the ruler on the right is 6". This is from a USAF patch collection I picked up at the Red River Valley Fighter Pilot Association reunion a while back (just now getting to posting them). It came from a very "METICULOUS" patch collector, and hope to find this gem a good home.
