ITEM: Original WWI Snapshot Photo from GERMAN 5th BATTERY, FIELD ARTILLERY REGIMENT 219 - ALEXANDER NEVSKY ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL CHURCH in WARSAW, POLAND, 1917. See the other photos I have listed separately of the same church from different perspectives. This cathedral was demolished in 1924-1926. Photo was taken by a German of the 5th Battery, Field Artillery Regiment 219 on the Eastern Front during World War I. He at least passed through Warsaw, Poland and was at one point near Riga, Latvia. I think his last name might have been Bode since he wrote to a Fraulein Emily Bode in Frankfurt who might have been his sister. SORRY.
