Original WWI & II Brazilian M1908 Bayonet with Scabbard (FI)7310 Great Condition

Description: Here is one that I hate to part with, but a few weeks away from 87, and my wifes says to start moving my old stuff out before I exit. I purchased this bayonet many years ago and was told it was a 1908 bayonet for a Mauser Rifle. I was told the blade was made in Germany and was for Brazilian rifles. I am not sure about this, but after some research the FI on the sheath is an abbreviation for Fabrica de Itajuba, the Brazilian state arms factory. This identifies the scabbard as a Brazilian-made replacement scabbard. This particular scabbard has a leather body with blued steel mounts. I measured the blade length of this bayonet and it is about 11 1/4 inches. The overall length of the bayonet in the sheath is about 16 1/2 inches. I wish I could hold the camera more steady as the blade photos are not as sharp as I wanted as the blade is in very good shape with really only one blemish which does show up in one photo. To me it looks like a very old blood spot (I hope not) that soiled the blade about a 3/8 inch area. The buyer will be very happy with this blade when they receive it and the sheath is in excellent shape too. Certainly this bayonet has probably seen some action, but no cracks in the wooden handle and the button release moves smoothly too. Was this blade made in Germany as I was told when I purchased it or was it made in Brazil. It does have the number 7310 on the side of the crosspiece. I do not see Germany anywhere on the blade or bayonet. So do I have a rare one here? Maybe the Shadow knows? (old time joke). I see many of these priced $150 $200 and even more. Some available for bids lower so therefore I try to place mine in the lower area. Apparently some of my stuff is selling much too low as some of my items are being resold on eBay for much, much higher prices. The shipping weight for this item is 1 pound and 9 ounces so the shipping will cost the buyer $14.25. Hopefully the buyer will be very happy with this bayonet which will only be sold to buyers, over age 18, who know it is legal to own where they reside. This item will not be sold or shipped to buyers who reside outside of the USA.
