Description: Original Finnish M/28 leather ammo pouch for Finnish Mosin Nagant rifles. This quite rare version with riveted straps was manufactured in 1930s most likely by Veljekset Åström leatherworks. These Finnish 45 round pouches are basically copies of the German WW1 pouches but bigger to accommodate the 7.62x53R cartridges. Good condition, although some of the stitching is cut. Leather is supple. Looks like the other back strap has been replaced, but I would say it's a period repair since the rivets are very similar. Finnish Army property SA stamp on top of the middle lid.
