Description: During WWII, the British Ministry of Information led extensive and quite elaborate messaging campaigns that were widely successful, including the creation of timeless messages such as, "Keep Calm and Carry On". The Ministry created this poster to advertise a series of free art exhibitions held at the bustling London Underground's Charing Cross Station. We were not able to learn more about the artist of this poster, signed "T.G.". This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters. This measures 20" x 25" (51cm x 64cm) We have been collecting original, vintage posters for 30 years, and have decided to sell some of our inventory at very attractive prices. Please look through our offerings and let us know if you have any questions. We are only offering ORIGINAL VINTAGE POSTERS -- no restrikes, reprints, or reproductions. We take pride in our high number of positive feedbacks and hope that you will become another satisfied customer.
