Description: This is a genuine late WWIi front seam M- 1C helmet shell with original finish (the 82nd Airborne decals were addedafter the war possible for Korean War use). The liner is also an original WWIl liner with al original components rigger modified to be an airborne liner for Korea.This M-1C paratrooper helmet is what would have been used during WWII by members of the various Parachute Infantry Regiments towards the end of WWII.The M-1 helmet retains it's original heavily weathered finish exterior paint and swivel bale chinstrap loops. It also has original shuttle loom sewn airborne chinstraps set with original hardware and snaps.The M-1 liner provided with this helmet has an original suspension liner, but modified to airborne specifications. It has original HBT cloth suspension (which includes): upper suspension, lace cord, back-strap, nape strap, sweatband, internal airborne snaps, leather liner chinstrap, shuttle loomed A straps with with original brass wire buckles. tI is missing the chin cup.I also will include some reproduction items if you wish to display this helmet as an example of WWII airborne. (Leather chin stray, chin cup, medical pouch, netting, camo strips)
