Description: For sale is a very nice 8" 2 vial level base with all of the original patina/paint still present (Starrett part number 98-8 made in the USA post WWII) . Main vial and tube assembly not included. Base works as originally intended as does the cross vial; no cardboard box. Base is clean straight, flat and damage/rust free. Item comes from large collection and has not been tampered with or serviced - item is in condition as found but works as well as the day it was made. Any questions, pls do not hesitate to ask.
