Description: Original M38 Hungarian Army Helmet. This is marked "DR 68" and was made in Hungary before WWII for the Finnish Army. This helmet was stripped, repainted a wartime Khaki - Green color, and has a quality Czech made reproduction leather liner and chinstrap installed. Size 68 shell, should fit a 60-61 head, possibly larger if you remove the pads inside the liner. This had no extra holes drilled by the Finns. Rare helmet to find in Size 68 and very rarely found refurbished to wartime specifications. Excellent helmet for reenacting Hungarian WW2 impressions or collecting. Hungarian Soldiers wearing these helmets saw extensive combat in the Eastern Front.
