Description: 5 x 7 photos have RETURNED! (All categories.) New Listing! Pittsburgh PATransit PCCs 1704 (47L-Library, OB, l), and 1748 are at Washington Junction Station on October 21, 1987. Both cars look very attractive in PATransit's next-to-last corporate livery. Despite their spiffy look, both were retired a week later following a disastrous runaway in the Mt. Washington Tunnel, and all non-rewired 1700s were removed from service. Four 1700-series survivors, and all the 4000s, had all gotten rewired. The last Pittsburgh PCCs operated in 1999. 5 x 7 print from raw digital image, originally from a Kodachrome slide. Printed on highest quality glossy photo paper. Mailed in a flat brown manila envelope.
