Description: Up for sale is a METTLACH Porcelain Urn Tureen #1859 MADE IN GERMANY Signed WARTH. Amazing workmanship with Lion heads for handles. Very colorful images of men having fun!! Artist signed "C. Warth". Measures approx. 12" x 15" and weighs about 13 lbs. Stamped on bottom "Mettlach 1859, GesGesch". In very good condition for it's age. Has one glaze bubble on the inside due to the original firing. There has also been a slight repair along the edge/framing of one side of the image of the men drinking.
