Description: Mercedes Benz 190SL w121 300SL w198 Genuine OEM Enamel Hood Emblem 1988170016. Condition is "Used". Mercedes part number: 198 817 00 16 This is a used original hood emblem with a smooth flat back and enamel paint This was removed from a 190SL w121 chassis It will also fit a 300 SL roadster and gullwing w198 chassis from 1954-1963 This is in used working repaired condition. This badge had the mounting bolt screw soddered back on as shown. There is cracking in the enamel finish The mounting screw bolt on the back has been repaired and has a nut and screw that is not original however this fits and mounts normally. The nut turns easily without any problem This has weathering fading rust and scratches but the blue and white paint is still present and looks ok. The paint is weathered and cracking similar to what you would find on a sign that has been outside for a long time Good for a survivor car or a daily driver It has scratches wear weathering as shown. This could be repainted to look excellent
