The artwork was sold through the Fine Arts Gallery of Ardmore as indicated by the letter attached to the back of the frame, giving it the indicia of authenticity.Avri Ohana was born in Morocco and emigrated to Israel at the age of thirteen. He was educated in a kibbutz and studied in Israel's major art schools. He was a member of the Elin Hod Artists Village. His works have been exhibited in galleries in Israel and in major cities throughout Europe and the United States.
