This is an honest piece which has seen service, but no abuse or damage. Leather is strong and flexible with some areas of wear to the finish. The checkered cross-hatch pattern is very nicely visible. The sling has a faint marking - mostly illegible but you can make out there is a manufacture date. Overally a nIce honest and all original wartime K98 sling that has seen a good deal of use.
