Every drawer, and especially along the top is where you see the most wear.This chest of drawers has been restored; a wax finish adds a soft luster to the piece, and while the 3 drawers still function with lock and key, the keys may also be used a as pulls if buyer chooses to no longer use the old locks.Chest is solid, stable and functional, including drawers.All scratches, cracks, dings, dried old worm holes, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special hand painted chest.
