Description: Vietnam War Helmet Liner This original Vietnam War U.S. M1 helmet liner was the result of a partnership between MSA and Westinghouse/Micarta. It dates to 1963, and of all the wartime producers, I've found these to be the least common by far. It retains its original OD#7 (green) cotton suspension. It comes complete with its original "DSA-100-73" headband and neckband. Unfortunately, the neckband is damaged, but still present. The liner's exterior was painted red and has a white masking tape stripe, potentially indicating use by a Range Safety Officer.
