Description: While Craftsman Studios was born in 1918 in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to California, this piece is likely the end of the line for the maker and is one of its last pieces made in the late 1940s by an off-shoot of the original company which still bore the hammer and anvil stamp. It's neat to see the tool marks used to shape the copper sheet and hammering on the spout. The wicker wrapped handle looks undamaged and the interior has a coating which partially remains. I have made no attempt to polish it. A scale is in the picture to give an idea of size. It weighs 1 lb 7 oz.
