Description: Original Coors Golden Malted Milk Tin, Adolph Coors Company 1930's, VintageCoors Malted Milk tin with lid. Tin is square with rounded edges with a screw top lid.Tin is empty. Tin is painted with cream paint and blue and silver lettering that says on one pair of opposing sides, "Coors / Golden / Malted Milk / Manufactured by / Adolph Coors Company / Golden - Denver / Colorado / U.S.A." and "Net Weight 5 lbs." On the other pair of opposing sides the can reads "The Malted Milk / with a / Distinctive Flavor / Keep package Closed Tight / in a Cool Dry Place" flanking a circular emblem of Adolph Coors. Inner friction top is missing.Good looking can with a few minor scuffs and oxidation on the top. The first of January 1916 Colorado went dry four years before the Volstead Act became federal law. Adolph Coors decided to pivot rather than drown in the wet reservoir of bankruptcy. The natural course correction fit nicely with an arsenal of on-site industrial provisions that even included a malt house.
