Description: Original British WW1 Lee Enfield No1 Mk3 SMLE rifle buttplate. The buttplate appears to be in very good condition; there are a few small nicks / spots of abrasion with some blemishes from long term storage. The buttplate is marked "IG" over 57 and the trapdoor is marked "IS" over 522.Very rare piece to find in this condition. Thanks for looking.
