Original 1960s VTG Fulmer Reprint Early Football or American Rugby Team 1920s

Description: Rare & Original - from a very important photographer’s estate in Clearwater Florida!! A George Fulmer 8x10 Black & white Photograph - extracted from a MASSIVE photographer’s ESTATE in Clearwater Florida. George made many reprints in an effort to restore or save images that had been damaged and this seems to be one of those. You can see that there was a crease in the original photo which I might have somewhere but if so I haven’t seen it yet. I do have one other copy of this but I’m going to keep it with the estate for now. You are purchasing one photo, the one that you see here . I haven’t really done any research on this one but I believe it might be a high school team from Florida please see all the photos I believe the original image is probably 1920s or earlier even, and most of the reprints that we are selling here were done by our photographer in the 60s and 70s. A Navy enlisted official photographer during WW2 who afterwards, served the city of Clearwater for another 55 years until his passing in 2015. Aerial photographer for Pinellas County & so much more!! After cleaning out the 7000 sq ft combination residence & studio by the Clearwater courthouse in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering SOME of the best ones up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. Not everything will be sold. We just want to share his work & get it circulated & known. Much of the collection will remain with the curators to share later. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, but it was not much as unfortunately for some reason, he had stored the war photographs outside where they were exposed to the weather, and sadly they had been completely destroyed. The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!!
