Description: Original 1950's Vintage Hopalong Cassidy Cowboy Watch (Repair / Parts) - RS Up for your consideration is a nice Original 1950's Vintage Hopalong Cassidy Cowboy Watch that would be a great candidate for repair or parts. Watch was manufactured back in the 1950's when Hopalong Cassidy was one of America's most popular television series. Item is being offered in good 'as advertised' condition . Watch currently does not run and is missing its' stem, knob, and watchband pins. It is however all original, including the infamous Hopalong Cassidy watch face with "Red" numbering & hands, Chrystal (which has only very minor scratching, no known cracks, chips, etc.) and a stainless steel case. The reverse side of the watch has been discretely engraved with a previous owner's initials (likely given as a gift back in the day) along with the wording, "Good Luck from Hoppy". Beneath the engraving is the manufacture's company logo; 'US Time'. NOTE - Through a fair amount of research, I have found that US Time, who was the original mfg. DID NOT release spare parts for it's watches to jewelers. Given this fact, it has presented another reason for retired watches such as this one to remain popular with the people who restore these watches & collectors.
