Description: This is an ORIGINAL wanted poster issued on March 12, 1934 for infamous outlaw and bank robber John Dillinger. This was issued by J Edgar Hoovers US Department of Justice Division of Investigation, aka G-Men, serving as the precursor to the FBI. This is beautifully marred and framed in museum UV glass to ensure that it will never fade. It is a two sided original but the reverse side is not visible due to framing. This was one of the first federally issued wanted posters which was preceded by Bonnie and Clyde. The wanted poster details many of Dillingers exploits including bank robberies and his escape from jail and theft of the sheriffs vehicle. Framed dimensions 14.5 x 14.5.
