Description: Orient Flume Studio Art Glass Dragonfly Paperweight Chico California Vintage '77 Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful, vintage Orient and Flume studio art glass paperweight. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This iridescent paperweight has dragonfly motif with white flowers and pulled feather patterns. The glass itself is cobalt blue when viewed from beneath. This piece measures approximately 2 3/8 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 2 7/8 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 1.0 ounces. The flat base is ground and polished. This would be a great addition to a collection of America studio art glass. Identification This circa 1977 paperweight has engraved markings beneath, "Orient & Flume." There are some letter/numeral markings, along with a date mark, "1977." The glass was made in Chico, California. Condition This paperweight looks great overall, with no chips or cracks. It has very light wear, with some fine scratches beneath. Color and iridescence variations are as made.
