Description: This is a set of three swords consisting of one metallic blade Samurai type sword and two wooden practice swords. The metallic sword looks like a Samurai sword with the exception the blade is not curved. On the front of blade is a label that states "GIFT 2000" and on reverse is stamped "Pakistan". Blade is sharp! Sword comes with matching Sheath/Scabbard. Overall length is approximately 36". The Wooden practice Samurai is almost 40" overall length and is one single piece as blade does not separate from handle. The smaller wooden Katana is approximately 22" overall and the construction on it is the same as the wooden Samurai. Don't know the make of wood but I guarantee it is not a soft wood like pine. Great set for the beginning Kendo student!
