Description: TODAY ONLY!!!! Here is another wonderful piece from one of the premier book printers and publishers of the 1920’s and 1930’s. This is Once Upon A Time by Leland W. Cutler. This beautiful piece was printed and published by John Henry Nash in San Francisco in 1934. This is a limited edition hand-numbered copy being number 50 of six hundred copies. This copy has also been inscribed by the author to his friend and fellow author Harold Brayton and dated in the year of publication “Christmas 1934” on the inside front board. As usual with Nash printed books this title has the marbled boards very indicative of his work. The binding is square, tight, and immaculate throughout. The front free endpaper has a small stain to the upper right hand corner. This handmade paper is watermarked with “John Henry Nash” across the bottom of the first and last free endpapers as shown. His pieces are of such high quality especially for the time he was working. The paper label on the cloth spine is still firmly attached also as shown in the photos provided. There is wear at the spine ends and loss to the four corners and along the upper and lower edges. All told a very collectible copy of a JHN piece with a very low limited number.
