Description: This is an original Prestolite Starter from an Onan (now Cummins/Onan) DJC12.0 diesel generator spec AA with 12 volt starter system. It was rebuilt at a starter shop about 2015 and had a new solenoid (52$) installed in 2018. It works and spins the engine over, but is lacking in torque to start my generator in cold weather. It has mostly been sitting under cover and not used much in the last 10 years. May need to be disassembled and checked and parts replaced as necessary before putting back into service. Shipping weight about 25 lbs.
