This listing is for an old vintage, close to antique, 10 karat gold filled, sterling silver heart-shaped locket pendant without chain. The heart is just over an inch long. This measurement dose not include the bail. The heart is just under an inch wide at its widest point. The locket has lovely Art Nouveau inspired etching on the front side. Inside the locket are 2 old photos of little boys. I imagine this locket originally belonged to a mother and the pictures are of her sons. The locket is stamped inside, 1/20th 10K on Sterling. The locket is in good condition, but is old, so it does show some wear and age. There is some wear to the gold finish. The plastic/celluloid covering is over only one of the pictures, and is cracked. The covering, however, may not be original to the locket. The locket could use some cleaning. Simple, classic, elegant and beautiful -- this will make a great gift for just about anyone to wear or to add to a collection.
