Description: For sale is a vintage tang gouge chisel, weighing 4.4 oz., with steel measuring 9/16" wide X 5-1/2" long, with a sound and solid 4-3/4" long wood handle. Unbranded, it has a good edge, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The steel ferrule is somewhat loose, but easily firmed up. Any edge work, honing, sharpening, cleaning and detailing is left up to you.
