Description: For sale is this antique bit brace, with 8" sweep. Signed "No. 508" on the frame, it is in excellent operating condition, with four light notches on the frame from a previous owner, as shown in the close-up view of the last picture. The pad handle has a gouge on the top surface, as shown in the 7th picture. This late 19th century bit brace is one of the more difficult to find in any condition.
