Complete leather loss on spine. Rare early 19th century Jewish bible. Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Formerly ex-libris with book plate and old oval stamps. Binding well age worn but still appealing, rear cover detached, leather and joints scuffed and rubbed but still supple, remains overall attractive as a physical object of this era. Text block paper is age toned as typical, internally book remains mostly clean, tight and sound. A book which has been taken care of but does not look like a new book. This is an antique old book which has been handled over the past many decades. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
