Description: OLD ORIGINAL CRAZY MISSOURI CAST IRON TIN TAIL LIGHTNING ROD WEATHERVANE. Meas. approx. 17 3/4"L. Features fancy cast iron bullseye front with open back for tin insert. This arrow originally had a tin insert in back held in place by two rivets. This arrow was designed to fit on the earlier twisted/star/section type rods with a 1"D ferrule area and will also fit any tube style rod. Overall condition very good. There is typical and expected overall rust and pitting present from decades of outdoor exposure as shown. Remains solid and ready to display.
