Description: Old Navajo Marcella James Sterling Silver Flower Leaf Opal Pendant 18in Necklace. A lovely vintage Native American pendant handcrafted by Navajo artisan and silversmith Marcella James, who is well known for her traditional Navajo jewelry. She captures the classic Navajo look in each piece. This pendant has a sterling silver flower on top and a sterling silver leaf nestled along one side of the opal, which sits securely in a sawtooth bezel setting. The pendant is 7/8" long by 1/2" wide. The back of the pendant is stamped STERLING and also has a Macella James hallmark. The necklace is stamped 925 for sterling silver. Total weight is 5.82 grams. This vintage Marcella James Navajo pendant is in very good condition, as shown in the photos. It has some minor surface wear and age-appropriate oxidation. It has not been professionally cleaned so as not to compromise the beauty of the natural patina. Please see the photos as they are part of the description and to assess the condition.
