Description: Vintage Old English Staffordshire Ware Pink "Monticello" 10" Plate England This 10" diameter plate was made in Staffordshire England by Jonroth, under the Old English Staffordshire Ware name. The plate label is shown in the pictures, but this is a Reproduction of a 1937 pattern. My mother bought this on a visit to Monticello, well over 20 years ago. The scene depicted is Monticello, the home of President Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence. The scene is surrounded by a floral pattern. The flaws in the plate are tiny bare spots on the back where the dish sat on posts during glazing (photos show these). These are original to the piece. I didn't see any cracks, chips or crazing. The dish was very lightly used, just put on display. Please email with any questions. Item will be packed carefully, and shipped within 1 business day after receipt of payment. Thank you for your interest, and good luck!
