The figurine depicts a dog pulling at the dress of a young lady exposing her buttocks in a risque manner. Decorated in principally greens, purples, and blues. Bustelli designed Nymphenburg's famous Commedia Dell' Arte figurines in the late 18th century. Many regard him as the factory's top sculptor. Simply a wonderful hard-to-find piece of Nymphenburg porcelain! Date:Early 20th Century, or earlierOverall Condition:It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.Condition Details:There are losses noted to 3 fingers on one hand, tips to the bows on her hat and dress, and apparently to the tip of the dog's tail. There is some sloppiness in the paint with drops of blue paint on the other hand, Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.Maker:NymphenburgMarks:Impressed with a Nymphenburg factory shield to the front of the plinth as well as the base of the figurine.
