This is an original hand painted watercolor painting on paper. The painting depicts a historical American landscape with views of the new and old courthouses of 1823 in New Philadelphia, Ohio (see photos). The painting is titled on the matting. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner on both the painting and again on the matting (see photos). The painting is old (estimate to be 75- +/- years old. The painting is from an estate liquidation. The painting is framed under glass. I will not ship the glass. Glass is easier to replace than original art. There is some glare, some reflections, and shadows that is visible on the glass in the photos. The framed painting in total measures about 26.25 inches high, and it is about 22.25 inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame and the matting paper measures about 17.35 inches high, and it is about 14.35 inches wide. The picture frame has some scratches and wear (see photos). The painting has been protected under glass with some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
