OLAFUR ELIASSON, A unique machine created drawing " Spatial Vibration: . . . "

Description: OLAFUR ELIASSON, B. 1967; This work is titled, "Spatial vibration: string-based instrument study II" 2008, ink on paper (a drawing, not an original print ), approx. circular paper dimension 35 inches; there is a ink stamp in drawing that says, Spatial vibration: string-based instrument study II New York April - June 2008. These drawings were created at Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, experimental creation machine of Olafur Eliasson and collaborators through a string instrument vibration triggering mechanisms that would cause unique works (different every time for a singular work). The production of each work, were available to whomever was there on certain days and time - in observing this complex production and acquiring a FREE work, one became apart of the artist wider community sharing experimence. Please view the images here. A beautiful work, all lines of drawing is clear, fine, precise - no smears on them or around, nor discoloration. The paper that its on is GOOD: (Not very good or excellent) There is two crunches, one on opposite ends of its circle; the reverse shows this explicitly, and some tint on that. The reverse shows kinks; residue once must had pulled off a thin layer of paper (irregular inch & a half); small crease/kinks (no folds) here and there. This a bright soft creame colored paper; the photos lighting varies as I tried to clearly show its defects. However, whats on the REVERSE somehow over-all have the surface looks more than acceptably good (though you will see effects from reverse to surface). Its been loosely rolled in a tube over years, and simply needs to have a glass or plexiglas laid on top. This could be a great gift to oneself as art lover. Conserve this 'good' original work over another 'good' movie or music poster! This is priced at $650! This will be shipped in a proper Tub, securing it at best. Sorry, only shipping in North America. Consequently, Olafur Eliasson on his official website presents his synopsis dated "JAN. 2009" the year after the creation of this work; its heading? NOTHING IS EVER THE SAME. Inwhich the many unique works are tellingly so. This synopsis was the introduction for his newly 'created/experiemental' INSTITUT FOR RAUMEXPERIMENTE. My words: Olafur is goodly rogue - breaking all rules cross-'discipl(e)inary' work at its best! An extreme experimentalist on/of school of thoughts. He is internationally community oriented whose themes may include any of Sun/Light refracted structures, phenomena of colors transparency, qualities of earth minerals and science, sounds and its physics of vibrations/ripples effect, space and weight (Look at his Wind Drawings on canvas for year 2023). Also, his "Spatial vibrations: string-based instrument study II" has images online, and blogs / writings concerning this experimentation.
