Description: A highly detailed hand made wooden Ohio Bicentennial celebration barn bank constructed by an inmate at the Belmont Correctional Institution in Belmont County, Ohio. The previous owners both worked at the Institution and were able to show receipts from the original purchase of these items, so the provenance has been positively confirmed. This barn measures approximately 9 1/4" x 7" x 8 1/2". To maintain good condition, it is recommended to use the bank for display only or for bills only and not coins.
