Description: Rare and with a highly unusual shape this late Cretaceous bivalve, Roundaira druri, was found in Germany. A wonderfully preserved specimen with both valves intact. Collector's catalog number has worn off with a bit of the white underlay still remaining. It measures about 1 3/8 inches in length. The cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm.
