Description: For bid is an original October 1918 magazine issue of “The Mid-Pacific Magazine, official organ of the Pan-Pacific Union” with great articles and photographs of the Territory of Hawaii and other Pacific Ocean nations... FULL ISSUE OF MAGAZINE! From cover photograph of Colonel Charles James McCarthy being sworn in as Governor of Hawaii by Franklin K. Lane!! McCarthy was a stridently anti-Asian governor of the Hawaiian Territory. The main text section of the magazine has page numbers 302-396. Magazine has several photographs of the 1907 visit to Hawaii by legendary author JACK LONDON Nad his wife Charmian. Many photos of Japan, China and other Pacific realms. Magazine is complete and in good condition. Several of the pages were never even separated (or “cut”) at the printer’s press. The right edge of the front cover was reinforced with a piece of transparent tape long ago. I have not attempted to remove it... October 1918 HAWAII History MID-PACIFIC Magazine w/ China & Australia etc..
