Description: NWA 15209 meteorite - 18.4g slice w/nice chondrules and metal(W2/S2). This meteorite is my 17th classification and 10th this year. SIZE: 59x31x4 mm The classification of NWA 15209 was done by A. Irving, UWS, and J. Boesenberg, BrownU in 2022. History: Purchased in 2004 from a dealer in Toronto, who had obtained the material from a Moroccan source.Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and J. Boesenberg, BrownU) Relatively small, well-formed equilibrated chondrules containing devitrified glass are set in a relatively coarse grained matrix containing altered kamacite, chromite, troilite and merrillite, but no plagioclase.Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa19.0±0.3, range Fa18.5-19.3, N = 10), low-Ca pyroxene (Fs16.9±0.2Wo1.4±0.7, range Fs16.6-17.3Wo0.9-3.0, N = 9).Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H4).Specimens: 27.9 g including one polished thin section at UWB; remainder with Mr. J. Divelbiss
