Description: This is a November 1964 Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-Man #18 1st Ned Leeds CGC 3.0 Item has been CGC graded at a 3.0 which is Good/Very Good The story here is Spidey is so worried about Aunt May's health that he has been running away from fights so he's roundly mocked and ridiculed by literally everyone except Aunt May, though I have a feeling she would too if she weren't so sickly. Things get so bad even Flash Thompson dresses up as Spidey to restore his good name but takes a beating instead. Then Spidey decides to fight back. Pretty trash story but it's Stan and Steve at the helm which already makes this desirable. This is also the first appearance of The Hobgoblin, if you believe Ned Leeds was the Hobgoblin. That's very much a Milestone. You may as well call this the cameo issue since it features appearances by The Sandman, The Green Goblin, The Vulture, Doc Ock, Kraven, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four and Daredevil! They even mention Electro, Mysterio, Mary Jane, Santa Claus, Peter Sellers and Nikita Khrushchev! You could say this issue has it all except excitement. I've mentioned this before but the Silver Age stuff is becoming increasingly hard to find and for preservation purposes a large portion has been graded. This issue has been CGC graded at a 3.0 which is the equivalent of Good/Very Good. This is a nice way of adding a very key issue to your collection for a fraction of the cost of a much higher grade and is worth a look.
