NOS Vintage Sturmey Archer Twinshift Muscle Bike 3+2 Speed Stick Shifter Rodeo

Description: New Old Stock in the bag! Sturmey Archer Twinshift Sportshift Gear Control. This original NOS 5 speed stick shift was made for the rare 3+2 Sturmey Archer hub. Part number HSJ.687 I believe. It comes with the mounting plate for a double 1/2" top tube frame (like the Raleigh Rodeo/Fireball), however I'm including a NOS mount for a standard 1" top tube as well. Perhaps this shifter was original equipment on the Eaton's Glider version of the Fireball, I'm not sure. With the 1" clamp it could be used on a 3+2 CCM Mustang. It's a rare piece either way. This is the perfect addition to your banana seat bike restoration, or stick shifter collection. While in excellent condition for its age, please allow for a little shopwear or other signs of the 60ish years that have passed since manufacture. It is in an unopened bag so I can not examine it thoroughly. Please ask any questions you may have, and see my other items for more shifters.
