Description: A NOS Sturmey Archer Sportshift flat coffin style chrome cover 3-speed stick shifter. This style has the pebble grain stickers on top with the 1-2-3 gear indicator on the top sticker and the large SA logo sticker on bottom. This shifter also has the early slotted shift arm similar to the arm used on Raleigh Chopper shifters. I believe this shifter was used on some Raleigh and CCM muscle bikes in the late 60's and early 70's and was available over the counter to use with any muscle bike. The chrome on the cover is very nice with only a few slight shelf wear marks. I didn't clean this shifter at all, so some of the marks on the end may come off with a little polish. It includes the original shifter cable and a package with a cable clamp for a single top tube frame and cable guide. Perfect for a mint original bike or for your best restoration.
