Description: NOS - Vintage aluminum military issue horse combs – set of two - $10 They are stamped “Germany” and are from the Vietnam era or earlier. They were used as horse mane combs and were most likely contracted overseas at the time (hence the Germany stamp). These were purchased in the early 70’s at a US DOD auction at the Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, CA. All combs are new and unused, some may have minor scuffing/dings from being stored. Both combs measure under 5” and are very light, weighing 1.9 oz together. We have been told these combs are excellent for dogs with heavy undercoats, they are firm and not sharp!!
