Description: Fix that sloppy swing arm on your Commando with these custom shaft collars. All tech tips books and forums for Commandos include this kind of fix for the swing arm. MKIIIs have an improved system that does not require this fix. These collars are easy to install for a home enthusiast with simple tools. Remove the rear wheel and swing arm spindle. Attach collars on each side of swing arm without set screw and mark hole location with center punch. Remove collars, drill 1/4" hole for each. Reinstall spindle and tighten down collars. Snug up set screws and locking nuts. Use some goop if you are concerned with possible spindle fluid leaks. Makes a HUGE difference if the cradle to spindle clearances are sloppy. Questions?
