Description: This charming little rustic trinket box was inspired by the designs of the Inuit of the Northwest coast of Canada. The box is made from a tree branch with the live edge or bark still on while the top has been sanded smooth. This allowed the Inuit inspired design to be stamped or printed on the lid. My guess is that it represents a beaver. The unique feature of this lid is the way the lid is permanently attached to the lower part of the box and can be swiveled out of the way for access to the inside. The inside of the box is sanded smoothly and has a purple plush fabric lining on the bottom. It is unsigned and in very good condition. 2.5" high and 3" wide.
