Description: For sale is a limited edition print by Northwest Coast artist Richard Hunt (1951-). The design represents an Eagle House Front House. The eagle is the main crest of the Kwaguilth People from the artists` village in Fort Rupert, B.C. Richard Hunt is a Kwaguilth (Kwakiutl) Native from Fort Rupert, near the northern tip of Vancouver Island, B. C. The Hunt family has been at the centre of traditional ceremonial life and carving for generations. Richard`s grandfather, Mungo Martin, was largely responsible for the rebirth of Northwest Coast Indian art. This colorful print is number 139 / 180; dated 2006 and measures 18 X 24 inches. The print has never been used and was on board in cellophane before I opened it to photograph. The print is very clean but there are minor dents and creases as if objects were rested on it. They can only be seen in a particular light. These minor imperfections are around the edges as the colorful image is fine. I have been selling native art on ebay since 1999 so buy with confidence. Thank you for looking and please browse my store as new art is added often.
